THE CONTEST ENDS TODAY, JUNE 30th, AT 9PM PST! GET YOUR ENTRIES IN!!

Hey guys, so today is the beginning of the month and also time for me to hold my first ever character creation contest! I hope that lots of you will get involved and not just three or four, but we shall see (I wouldn't mind, i just want cool ideas heheh) But the main point of this contest is to make me a good evil character (that's an oxymoron, but i hope you get what I mean), because for some reason i just can't ;^;

So! I have a few standards that need to be met before I give you guys the guidelines for this character aka....

THE RULES

I would like this character to be either in SONIC or ANTHRO style

I want to see the DESIGN you come up with, so I WILL NOT BE JUDGING YOUR ARTISTIC SKILLS

I encourage drawing the character with weapons and back stories, but that is not required although it will make me consider your entry more.

It doesn't matter how you make your drawing (a ref sheet, with no background, etc.) I JUST WANT TO SEE THE DESIGN and the weapons if you choose to include those

It does not matter whether your submission is digital or traditional

Only ONE entry per contestant please

DO NOT USE BASES I would like to see YOUR ORIGINAL IDEAS

NO RECOLORS I don't want to see characters that looks JUST like Sonic Shadow or Silver or any other official character, I WILL CHECK FOR ARCHIE CHARACTERS

SPEND MORE THAN 10 MINUTES ON YOUR ENTRY I don't want entries that are hastily drawn, I want ones that look like they've had at least a LITTLE TIME put into them

I would like them NOT to be related to OFFICIAL CHARACTERS in any way shape or form

Okay I think that will be alright for the rules and now for what I will be looking for in the character, now in useful bullet point format!

I want this character to be EVIL, a bad guy, someone who most other characters will have something against

I want them to be cunning, but not downright destroying everything for no reason!

I kinda want to have them look like they could have a nice evil laugh, but that's up to you

I would rather them NOT HAVE A COMPLETELY BLACK COLOR SCHEME, its kinda overused but honestly, if you can make it work then I am more than willing to see your entry

POWERS ARE COOL, but I don't want the character to be unbeatable by my heroes! If you give them powers it would be cool if you made them have a weakness

I don't care if the character you submission is edgy, I honestly kinda like that crap

It would be awesome (if they are a sonic style character) if you made them a hedgehog! For some reason I've been wanting a new hedgehog character lately, but if you can make a really cool design for another species, I'm all game! If they are anthro I don't think I want a wolf character, I might not draw them as much because I'm not that great at drawing wolves yet

TWO flat color drawings of their FAN CHARACTER or an OFFICIAL CHARACTER  or you could choose to make it a SHIPPING PICTURE of your fan characters, but will then only receive one drawing! (i will draw m/m, f/f, or m/f but nothing sexual)

When you are finished with your entry, link the contest in the description of it and please comment below with a link to the deviation and I will list it on a separate journal featuring all the contest entries!

It would be nice if you could comment if you're planning on entering so that way I can know who's going to be entering.
